When you are tired

When you are tired

The clocks went back (for those of us who live in places that subscribe to summer time) last week, and everybody is just that bit more tired.

Luckily, because this situation makes everybody tired, we all simply sympathise. If you are the lone person in your circle who is feeling fatigued, you may have had the following suggested to you:

More exercise.

Less exercise.

Less work.

More me-time.

Yoga (separate from other exercise).

Meditation.

Coffee.

Coffee and cake.

Tea and cake.

Tea.

Herbal remedies.

And so on and so forth.

Sleep very occasionally appears on the list. Are we really headed into a society where sleep is something negative?

Counter-argument: every adult (or thereabouts) all say that sleep is among their favourite thing. So what gives?
