Food diary, November 12, 2010

Woke up to the “damn, I could eat a stack of toast”-feeling again.

Mug of coffee; three slices of wholemeal with olive spread; a banana.

Trying out liquid snacks.

Mug of tea.

An improvised lunch.

Four pancakes, lightly sprinkled with sugar; vegetable soup.

Always make too much pancake batter – you will stand there frying them for a while, but frozen pancakes will never be forgotten in the back of the freezer.

Chocolate viennese; two clementines.

Getting slightly tired of the two items above – I need a more varied snack cupboard!

End of week treat. Not that I deserve them:

Haribo Tangfastics. The best type of haribo. 100 grams = enough calories for a lighter main meal.

As a result…

Cherry tomatoes, sliced yellow pepper, reduced-fat homous.

What else? Oh right.

Sweet popcorn.

A spoonful of peanut butter may also have snuck in.

Food for thought: Perhaps I should not scale my main meals lighter as a result of an earlier snack, as it seems to cause more snacking.
